Uluslararas\u0131 Nakliyeciler Derne\u011fi \u0130cra Kurulu Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Fatih \u015eener ise &#8220;Ge\u00e7i\u015f belgesi, s\u0131n\u0131r beklemeleri ve teslimatlarda ya\u015fanan gecikmeler ihracat\u00e7\u0131lar\u0131m\u0131za ve \u00fcreticilerimize y\u0131ll\u0131k 6 milyar dolar\u0131 bulan bir ek maliyet getirdi&#8221; diye konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Batu International Logistics that started its logistics activities in 2002 provides solutions in the issues of storehouse management, customs clearances, and foreign trade in addition to all the transport modes. The company that continues its position as a preferred solution partner especially in the shipments to Europe wishes to carry its success in that area to the Iranian market as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CARRYING ITS SUCCESS IN EUROPE TO IRAN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">We have a success we attained on the European market. We are growing approximately 10-12 percent per annum on that market, says Taner Ankara, Chair of the Board of Directors of Batu International Logistics, and adds that however, that market has reached its saturation point. Pointing out that they, therefore, would like to be stronger and stronger on the markets where they see new opportunities, Taner Ankara says, Iran is one of those markets. We have started to achieve an increase in our carriages to the Middle East and the Turkic Republics in the recent years. Start of the international firms that we work with to make investments in those countries has been a significant factor for us. We are providing particularly the sectors of FMCG products and chemicals with services in overland transport mode.<\/p>\n<p><strong>AIMS TO GROW 100% <\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Taner Ankara states that they conduct import-export shipments on the Turkey-Iran line and that 2% of their total transport volumes consisted of the Iranian line in 2016. Ankara underlines that their goal for 2017 is to increase that ratio to five percent. Taner Ankara explains that they are carrying out discussions for new partnership agreements in Iran and continues as follows:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">We are working on the projects that will provide our clients with cost advantages in the long term by creating different alternatives through the intermodal transport model. This year, we are expecting 100 percent more growth than the previous year. The market will have been shaped in mid 2018. As in Europe, we would like to be a significant actor in that region as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE FASTEST SERVICE IS FROM TURKEY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Taner Ankara underlined that Iran became able to receive numerous goods and services, which it had been unable to receive so far, from some particular countries thanks to loosening of the embargo, and says, In view of logistics, the country that is able to provide the fastest services to Iran is Turkey because Turkey is geographically superior.
